Meet the Founders
Michele and Liana met in college over 20 years ago and share a passion for lifelong learning and helping women achieve their full potential and satisfaction in life. Together they have celebrated and mourned major life events, supported each other through finding purpose in their 20s, the challenges of motherhood, and various career pivots and entrepreneurial ventures. As each other's biggest fan, they truly value the concept that multiple minds produce the best results. Michele and Liana bring their rich and diverse life experiences, learned knowledge, energy, and passion to this community. They are creating a holistic solution for ambitious women to reach their true potential by focusing on their strengths and managing their mindset.
Michele Mavi
Michele is certified in Applied Positive Psychology and has coached hundreds of women through her work with The Ladders, Korn Ferry and Atrium. In addition to executive roles in talent development, training and recruiting at top firms, Michele is an industry thought leader and communications expert. Her work focuses on a strengths-based approach to igniting the best in individuals and teams. Michele’s advice is regularly quoted in high-profile publications such as Fast Company, Inc. and US News.
Liana Slater
Liana builds education and leadership programs and holds an MBA
and certificate in Leadership in the Digital Age, from INSEAD Business
School. Liana evolved from a media and tech executive, an early employee at Google, and moved on to develop a career in adult learning, most recently building and implementing executive leadership programs
for Fortune 1000 companies, advising start-up and scale-up businesses and as a social impact leader. She is also Co-Founder and Co-President of the Global Women in Business Club for her alma mater.
