Acceptance can be a misunderstood act. Misguided efforts to be resilient by just accepting a situation can actually create more stress. We may think our act of acceptance would result in a sense of being unburdened by whatever is weighing on us but still experience tension and stress. That's because we're not actually accepting the situation but rather resigning ourselves to something. There's a big difference.

How many goals to do you have? What importance do they have to you? Are they working in harmony with each other or do they compete for your time and attention? Having one wildly important goal allows you to focus your energy and attention so you can actively create strategies towards achieving it. Feel like you're being pulled in too many different directions? Identify your one wildly important goal and start making the shifts needed to start moving towards achievement.
